In this episode of Prophetic Voices, we’ll be discussing the lectionary for Easter Day (B). The text covered in this episode is John 20:1-18 Our amazing guests this week are: 

  • The Rev. Canon Debbie Low-Skinner, a third-generation Chinese American living in Silicon Valley, canon to the ordinary in the Diocese of California, and a General Convention deputy. Her clergy career spans 27 years, serving in large and small churches in California, Long Island, and Massachusetts. She owns a tuxedo cat named Oreo, and loves jazz, ragtime, choral music, and Broadway musicals. Before becoming a priest, she was a systems engineer for Lockheed Martin for 24 years.  
  • The Very Rev. Eric Metoyer, regional dean for San Francisco in the Diocese of California. He is active as a board trustee for Cathedral School for Boys and Episcopal Community Services, is a corporator for Lyndon Institute, and is a frequent speaker on multi-cultural issues in the church.
